Edventure 6!  Already?

More blue skies, sunshine and almost 15° C!  (March, really?  Its heavenly!)  A glorious day!  Perfect for an Edventure!  (and the ideal day to try out my new bargain outdoor coat!)  County number 6!

With free entrance at the local soft play area, and other kids going too, we’d be mad to miss out, so we spent an hour or so there, then headed off for our next edventure!

Picnic packed, (and car fuelled and emergency change prepared this time!) county number 6 was West Yorkshire!  We had so much to choose from in this area, but we ran with something a little of the beaten track.  We picked St. Ives Estate, Bingley, and I’m so glad we did!  There was so much to do here!  It takes some preparation to find, as it is really well hidden in a little village called Harden.  The estate is an amazing country park with stunning woodlands, open moor, wildflower meadow, a pond and brilliant way-marked paths. The adventure playground is fantastic, great for kids, from tinies to teens, and finally there is a fab chainsaw sculpture trail.  It was the PERFECT way to spend the day! With free parking, and toilets, this is a must visit location!  (We will be back!)

COSTS: Fuel only

WHAT DID THE KIDS THINK?  Brilliant!  Great!  Perfect!

County 6 – Done!   89 to go!!!

Pop back soon for another Edventure!
